Travel is meant to be enjoyed. Remember, we are aiming for “B+ days” - so it’s not about perfection. Just make a few intentional choices that help you feel your best while you're away, but truly - enjoy that vacay!

Prioritize protein.

Aim to include a source of protein at each meal to help keep you full and support your muscle while traveling.

Stay hydrated.

Travel often means more walking, more heat, more alcohol, and less routine. Carry a reusable water bottle and sip throughout the day.

Walk whenever you can.

Skip the Uber if it's a reasonable distance. Explore on foot, take the stairs, or enjoy a morning walk before your day begins. It all counts. You’re often far more active on vacation than in your regular life at home, so don’t stress about missing workouts. So long as it’s a somewhat active vacation, and you’re not gone for 3+ weeks, you’re good!

Pack a few staples.

Having a few easy options on hand can help bridge the gap between meals.

Ideas include:

Give yourself permission to enjoy special meals.

Trying local food, celebrating with friends, or having dessert are part of the travel experience. One indulgent meal won't undo your progress.

Get right back into your routine.

Ok, the vacation’s over, now it’s time to get back on the horse.

When you get home:

  • Buy groceries.

  • Get back to your normal meals.

  • Complete your next scheduled workout.

  • Move on.

No detoxes. No punishment. No guilt.
