A Wild Week Ahead
Happy Monday. This week is about to be wild. Today, I got the news today that the Moh’s surgery was a success, it was benign and all margins were clear. Man. I started crying immediately, and then I started laughing because I was shocked by my reaction. I guess I didn’t realize how worried I’d been. Sigh. Happy Monday, indeed!
The first order of business was to get straight to the gym. Had myself a little leg day and while I couldn’t do everything (landmine rotations had too much of a pull at the incision point on my back, and hip thrusts were a no go because of the pressure of the incision against the bench), I still had a great workout. I feel so grateful for my health and ability to move. I all but floated out of the gym after such a great workout.
Hopefully this all sets the tone for the rest of the week. And what a week it is…
Tomorrow I have the final walk-through for my house, I close on Wednesday, and then a pod will be delivered Thurs for me to load up at the apartment I’ve been staying. It’ll be picked up on Fri, and then I’ll move into an AirBnB for the next 30 days so the contractor can get started on some renovations to the new house. I’m so, so excited for the next chapter.
My new little yard is so sweet, and I can’t wait to do some gardening. I think that’ll be my first order of business this week - to get these hands in the dirt.
Ahh, so grateful.
